Year In Review 2022-23

A New Chapter

God is building something special at Epic. Our church is poised for a season of opportunity and growth. The past year has been about preparing the church for this next chapter.

Signs of growth and health are obvious.

  • More people are attending worship on Sundays than a year ago.

  • 18 people have officially joined the mission as members of Epic in the past year.

  • EpicKids classrooms are growing, with more than 20 children learning about Jesus on three separate Sundays recently.

  • New ministries have launched: Communications, Events, and Step Out Sundays.

  • The ServeLocal Food Pantry is serving more and more people in our community, and many prayers are being answered.

  • In the meantime, our leaders have worked behind the scenes to create or improve systems for welcoming guests, communicating more effectively, engaging people with volunteer opportunities, and receiving prayer requests.

Here is a quick snapshot of what God has been doing here!

EpicKids and EpicStudents

At Epic, we love to hear kids are excited to come to church. Over the past year, we opened the Bible, got lost in a giant bubble machine, took on winter camp, started two successful Bible Quizzing teams, learned to play 9-square-in-the-air, and much more!

ServeLocal

ServeLocal has operated out of the new Outreach Center for almost a year now! This great new space is allowing our volunteers to pack more groceries and support more families. The first annual Strikes for ServeLocal event raised more than $8,000, and Gifts for All God's Children provided an extra special Christmas for 50 families in our community.
