And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men” Luke 2:52

Since we believe Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our vision is to come alongside and partner with parents in the discipleship process. This is best described by the color Orange (LINK). In Epic Explorers, our mission to bring glory to God by making disciples through Christ-centered worship, Christ-centered families, Christ-centered community and Christ-centered service.

Summer Hours

11:00 AM WORSHIP
Our classrooms will be focused on fellowship and fun, with a movie Bible story and play time.  If your child is between the ages of 3 and 2nd grade, please check them in at the Epic Explorers desk, then they can join you for worship time in the Worship Center.  Pastor Tim will give a Kid's Message during worship, and then they will go back to the Blue Room to watch a Bible story.  3rd-5th graders have the option to join the younger group if they wish.  Nursery will continue as usual.

9:15 AM WORSHIP
Children are welcome to join their parents in worship. There will be Bible handouts and crayons available for the kids. There will be no nursery or kid's program.

Preschool (Birth –Preschool)

We strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, Christ-centered foundation for our children. We sing, dance, play and teach the Bible to the kids.  We want every preschooler to know three truths before they graduate to elementary:

    God made me.

    God loves me.

Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Elementary (K-5)

We work to continue building up a strong, Christ-centered foundation for our children. We worship through song, tell stories from the Bible and gather in small groups by age to talk about Scripture together. We want every child to know these three truths before they move on to middle school.

I need to make a wise choice.

I can trust God no matter what.

I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Your First Visit!

At Epic Explorers Check-In, we will meet your family and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room. We will ask for the following personal information: family members' names, children’s names and birth dates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

What We Value

Creative Bible Teaching

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written! We strive to bring its stories to life through activities and discussions that keep children engaged. Each environment and lesson materials are created in an age appropriate way. We want all children to love God’s word and understand the value of applying it to their lives.

Relationships

We value children’s relationships within the small group setting. We want each child to build friendships with others and know they have a consistent leader in their life who believes the same thing as their parents.

Fun!

Kids love fun! We realize that when children have fun at church, they can’t wait to come back. We value creating fun ways for children to learn about Jesus, including games, activities, singing, and live acting.
